During Family History Month, the BFHG will be conducting a Graves and Grub event at O’Connell.
Mr Ian Browne, BFHG member, will conduct a guided talk and tour of St. Thomas Church before we undertake a talk on some of the
hidden stories of early pioneers in the cemetery.
If you would like to join us on the day, the information for the event is as follows:
TIME: Meet at 10.00 am at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Beaconsfield Rd, O’Connell for a tour and talk on
the church to begin at 10.15. This will then be followed by a tour and talk on the cemetery.
COST: $10 per person, payable in advance – payment can be paid directly into the group’s NAB account,
details below, or payment can be made at a general meeting or whenever the Family History Centre is
open for research.

LUNCH: 1 pm, at own cost at O’Connell Pub at the conclusion of the event. Those wishing to visit the Old
Rectory Store – the store will be open until 3.30 so you may like to return after lunch or if not going to
lunch, visit at your leisure after the Graves and Grub event.
IF GOING TO LUNCH: if you would like to join the group for lunch after the Graves and Grub tour, please
contact Chris Stewart on 0408 084 450 as numbers will be needed to book a table for lunch.
