Beatrice GRIMSHAW

One of the latest addition to the Pillars of Bathurst was the BFHG’s nomination for Beatrice Grimshaw (1870-1953). This Irish born writer had been a traveller in the South Pacific for over 30 years.  She wrote numerous short stories and travel articles.  Lived in Papua for 27 years and managed plantations. She retired to Kelso in 1936.
