The author says – It appears that it has never before been attempted to gather the history of Burraga and collate it into one article. Because of the range of activities within the area covered, this book has been presented in this form, giving as much information as possible in the space and time available, leaving the story to interpretation of the individual.’

There is a list of names of those entitled to vote in the Burraga Polling place for 1903 giving name, abode and occupation. There are many photos and maps of the area including, one showing the mines around Burraga.
