Held Saturday 22nd February 2020 at 176 Russell Street, Bathurst.

President Dianne Barnes opened the meeting at 2.10 pm

Present:  Twenty two members as per attendance book.

Minutes of Previous meeting held Saturday 26th October 2019 were circulated and accepted.

General Business:
Senior’s Week.  Four local bus trips were organised by Dianne Barnes for BFHG,  as part of these Community events.
Thanks were extended to Marion Pearce for assisting with the commentary on two of these trips.  Those attending also received brochures on each destination.
A thank you note to be sent to Christopher Morgan for granting access to his home on one tour.
Ground Penetrating Radar:  Findings of this survey will be presented to the group on Saturday 14th March 11-1pm at 176 Russell Street.  Invites to be sent to Council staff and event to be open to the public. here
Autumn Colours:  Booklet now available with BFHG events listed for each month. Thanks were extended to the sub committee for once again keeping the group’s profile high and for the time involved in putting together each outing.
Machattie Park Walk: Jan Page will conduct this tour on Sunday 15th March 10-12noon for BFHG members.  Lunch at own expense to follow at Jack Duggan’s Hotel.  RSVP 8th March 2020. here
Back to the 50’s: This event to be held at 176 Russell Street, Friday 27th March 6-8 pm.  Cost $5.00pp  Items of 1950’s memorabilia requested to build up the displays. A light supper will be served.

There being no further business, the meeting closed at 2.25 pm.

 Sharon Shelton then addressed members with details of her research into her latest book “Tales of the Bridle Track”. This was received with great interest by members, many of whom had their own tales to tell. here

 Graeme Hill and Ken Peterson advised they were available for website and research assistance following afternoon tea.
