The Bathurst Family History Group Inc. was founded in 1984 by a small number of people who wanted to help each other to make progress with their family history research.
Details of our meetings and events are published in our journal 'Carillon Chimes' which is posted to all members and is available for download as a pdf file from this website. Formal meetings with a guest speaker and less formal research gatherings are held regularly by the Group.
All members have access to the group's extensive range of resources including books and journals, microfiche, microfilm and CD-ROMs. Some publications are available on open access in the library but only financial members can use the material stored in the locked cupboards and the Group's computer by showing their current membership card at the front desk and signing the book to obtain the key. Other indexes and resources are available in the 'Members Only' section of this website.
